I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! Daniel and I did a lot of resting and I spent time reflecting on my Savior. He rose so we could have life! I love the verse from Romans 8:11, ‘If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.’ Such good news!

Fall Colors

Last week a box of vintage clothing arrived on my doorstep including this AMAZING pleated skirt. A very sweet girl I know just cleaned out her closet and decided to donate a few pieces to me. Wasn’t that super nice!? I can’t believe how thoughtful the gesture was, and it is much appreciated!

Today I decided to play with textures, colors, and necklines all the while sticking with Fall colors. This shirt was thrifted for $2.50, the skirt was free(!!!), the shoes were end of summer sale from TJMaxx, and the necklace from a boutique in D.C.
I can’t seem to get enough of burgundy, deep oranges, and greens lately!

Pink Panter

I’ve been on the hunt for the ‘perfect pink pant’ all summer. Aaaaand now that it’s coming to an end of course I found them! :) But I’m happy with these trousers and love the cropped fit, so it was worth the wait. I found them at Name Brand Clothing for $8.

It took me a while to figure out how to style such bold pants, but I decided to pair these fitted statement pants with a flowy neutral top to break up the cut of the outfit. I got this top at Ross for $8 and these amazing heels at a local thrift shop for $7.50.

Also, do you like my post title? Super cheesy…just like me.

Primary Prep

Today’s outfit reminds me of Gilmore Girls, when Rory goes to Chilton. Anyone else watch that show? I’m pretty sure I’ve seen every episode. :)

The weather here is so lovely, with mid-day temps still reaching the 90′s. So I thought I’d pair a long sleeve v-neck with a skirt. This shirt was purchased at Name Brand Clothing last year for $4 and I thrifted my skirt, shoes, and necklace for a grand total of $16.50 for the whole outfit!
