Soooo you may call this scarf ‘mustard’ colored…but I’m calling it ‘butterscotch’! Is it b/c I’ve had a crazy sweet-tooth lately? Probably!

Wichita (well, all of Kansas) was hit with lots of snow this week, but before that came we had a very sunny Sunday where I wore this fun little skirt to church and out to lunch with friends. What a glorious sunny day!

Can you tell this girl is ready for Spring?!

Fall Into Spring

Before the weather warms up too much, I’m trying to give my fall and winter pieces one last go! I realize this look isn’t too Spring-y but I do love these rich colors! What looks are you trying to squeeze in before summer hits?

My hair is starting to actually grow out a bit (thank you Biotin!) so I’ve been wearing it ‘natural’. It doesn’t have too much wave, but it’s just enough to scrunch and go! I love a quick morning routine.

Annnnnd this outake was just too funny not to share. Doesn’t it feel good to just laugh at yourself sometimes?
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Shamelessly Coordinated

As much as I love not matching (which is my typical preference), sometimes it’s fun to coordinate…even over coordinate. There is just something exciting when all the pieces come together.

Also, has anyone noticed turtlenecks cropping back up on the trend scene? I NEVER thought I would be caught dead in a turtleneck, but when I saw this mustard one, I decided I could give it a try. Surprisingly, it’s super comfortable and cozy. Will you give turtlenecks a try?

Ketchup & Mustard

Mustard is such a great Fall color and what goes better with mustard…than ketchup!? I thrifted these vintage mustard cigarette pants  for $4 this Summer and have waited for the temp to drop to give them a whirl. The top is from a resale shop for $5 and these amazing red shoes were thrifted for $6 last year.

When thrifting I often buy items that are not in season and store them away for just the right time. When you find a special piece for a great deal but it’s not quite in season, sometimes it’s worth the wait!

What are your favorite colors for Fall this year?
