Let’s be honest, I have a serious lack of curves. This fact has never really bothered me exept when it comes to filling out awesome clothes…like this blazer! I have yet to find a blazer that really fits me…they always end up a bit baggy in places you just don’t want to appear baggy.
Today is a court day, thus the dressy outfit. I work for a non-profit called CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). It’s a GREAT organization that advocates for kiddos in foster care. I’m an Advocate Coordinator at the Sedgwick County office and have the pleasure of working with amazing volunteers in my community. I often go to our juvenile courthouse to listen to cases, appoint CASAs before the judges, and run errands. I’ve learned SO much in this job and I’m very thankful to be a part in helping kids have better lives! It is also fun for me, as a fashion lover, to have a reason to dress nicely and use my creativity on a dialy basis. If you want to read more about CASA, click here. There are CASA programs in almost every county in the US, you could become a volunteer!
