Candy Corn

In honor of the onset of Fall, I thought I’d get in the mood with neutral colors and this crazy shirt that resembles candy corn. I scored this vintage shirt for less than $2 last year and have been waiting for the temperature to drop so I could wear it. This brown skirt was too big in the hips and fell awkwardly below the knee, but a few quick stitches and snips and now it fits like a glove! I love the pleated front, belt loops, and pockets making it versatile and bringing a bit more interest to an otherwise plain skirt.

A few months ago I traveled to D.C. for work where I bought this crazy statement necklace from a cute little boutique. I was hesitant to buy something quite this bold, but I’ve actually been wearing it a lot and enjoying the bright aspect it adds!
